My dad has ALS. He's always wanted to go to WDW. He's still somewhat mobile but can't physically stand in the lines or do all the walking. Would our family be able to enter attractions via handicap acces to ride with him if he were to come with us. Than

    Hi Jennifer,

What a wonderful idea to bring your father with you to Walt Disney World!  We love bringing our extended family with us.  Your father would certainly qualify for a Guest Assistance Card which will allow him and the party he is with to avoid standing in long lines due to his health condition.  He will need to go to Guest Relations at any of the theme park and explain his situation.  He can provide a doctor's note to help clarify his disability but this is not necessary.  He may also benefit from a wheelchair or Electronic Convenience Vehicle (ECV) to help him around the theme parks.  These can be rented by the day or the entire duration of your stay.  I know that your vacation together will be just magical, Jennifer!
