    Christopher from FL Asked

I want to customize my magic bands, it's very important to my son. Help?

A Very Merry Unbirthday to you, Christopher! I absolutely cherish my three MagicBands and can’t wait to eventually collect all the colors! There are a few things you can do to personalize your bands for your family trip.

When you log on to My Disney Experience, and you have a Walt Disney World Resort reservation, you will see on the welcome screen, a blue clock icon and “Personalize Your MagicBand.” Click that. If you don’t see that option, hover over MyDisneyExperience in the top right corner of your screen and select MAGICBANDS AND CARDS. You will then see you MagicBand orders waiting for personalization!

Choose GET STARTED and confirm your shipping address. You’ll see the members of your party on the reservation, with options to decline a MagicBand (for someone using a previous band) or customize with options. Use nicknames, as you would playing a game at a bowling alley, or all caps to share your excitement.

When you depart on your vacation, remember not to pack your MagicBands in your checked luggage. They will be the tickets for your Magical Express ride, your hotel check-in, Theme Parks tickets, FastPass+ Reservations and more.

If you want something really special, you can decline the complimentary solid-color MagicBands and instead, opt to purchase one from an on-demand artwork station when you are on property, located at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. in Magic Kingdom Park, D-Tech boutique in Disney Springs, and Star Wars Launch Bay in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can purchase a band with your name on the outside, along with your favorite characters, attractions and Disney features. Have a magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
