    Cathy from SD Asked

Hi! I currently have reservations at POR and an considering changing to Coronado for the Queen size beds. I've heard that the Coronado is not very family geared. Could I get you opinion please?

Hi Cathy. You're correct in that the beds in the Port Orleans Riverside are indeed full-sized. Coronado Springs is a gorgeous moderate resort and the rooms have recently been upgraded. I stayed there this past December and loved it. There were families and kids everywhere. The resort is a conference hotel, with conference facilities, and as such tends to attract the business traveller in addition to families, but in no way would I see it as a business hotel. The main pool, the Dig Site, is beautiful and has a great slide for kids of all ages. Coronado Springs also has, in addition to a full service restaurant, what I think is the best resort food court, the Pepper Market.

I hope this helps! Write back if you have any more questions Cathy!
