We are currently planning a trip with a Travel Agent to sail out on Sept.8th from Port Canaveral. We are going to be driving, how much is the parking charge and are there several parking places to choose from? We had thought about flying but looks pricey.

    Ahoy Tiffany!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Planning for your magical voyage is such an exciting time and before you know it you will be hearing the words, "Welcome Aboard!"
My family often drives to Port Canaveral because it does save us quite a bit on airfare.  There is secured parking available at Disney's Cruise Line Terminal.  For your four-night sailing, you can budget around $75.00 for parking although pricing is always subject to change.  Cash, Visa and Mastercard are all acceptable forms of payment.
There are also off-site parking facilities that are not affiliated with Disney Cruise Line or Port Canaveral.  These companies such as Park Port Canaveral and Park-N-Cruise will offer lower rates and transportation via shuttle to the port.
If you decide to drive down a day early, you can also look into leaving your car at a nearby hotel.  Many of the area hotels such as the Residence Inn and Country Inn & Suites offer a cruise & stay package which includes free parking during your cruise.  They offer a shuttle for a nominal fee over to the port both on the morning of your embarkation and disembarkation.
I hope I've given you some good ideas, Tiffany.  If you have any other questions, please let me know! I'm always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
