    Honey from SD Asked

I am currently planning a trip to DW in October for my family of 6. I have bought 2 tickets already. If I add them to My Profiles on the family guest page and look ahead at fast pass will the tickets be considered used starting say today versus in October?

Your tickets are not activated until you go through the "turnstiles" at your first theme park. (I put the word "turnstile" in parenthesis because you no longer "go through" them, you tap them. I have a feeling we'll be adding a new word to Webster's Dictionary this year for this... "tapstiles," anyone? But I digress...)

It sounds like you'd like to play with the FastPass+ selection system under My Disney Experience before your 30-day or 60-day-out FP+ reservation window. Good news: Doing so, will not activate your ticket to begin its 14-day countdown. You'll notice that you can go very far in the FP+ system--even making FP+ selections--and still be able to cancel. Honestly, I do this all the time so that I can create scenarios from questions of guests like yourself! Just be courteous to cancel your FP+ selections so that other guests who will be going to the parks can use them.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
