We are currently planning our kids 1st Trip to Disney (5 and 3). We were wondering if we have the option to turn off room access on the kids Magic Bands? We are afraid they are going to lose them

    Hi Jennifer,

First trips to Walt Disney World are magical! I remember my daughters' first visit when they were just a little bit younger than your children.

Disney's MagicBands are one of my favorite things about Disney. I love that they are adjustable to fit a small child to a large adult. This makes it easy to keep them snuggly in place. The new MagicBands also allow you to add them to other items such as a necklace to provide the guest with more options.

While turning off the room feature is not an option, there is nothing on the MagicBand to indicate your resort. In addition, you can hold onto your children's MagicBand or have the admission card in your possession. You would only need to use their MagicBand or admission card at park entry and for FastPass+. Everything else can be done from yours.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
