    Juan from CA Asked

i currently have a Disney Signature plus, but i want to take my family to Disney World. How much would it be to upgrade to Premier Annual Pass.

    Hi Juan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you're hEAR, and thank you so much for asking this great question.

Even though my Moms Panel specialty is Walt Disney World Resort, my family is currently stationed in California where I'm also a Disneyland Resort Signature Plus Annual Passport holder! We might never live this close to the magic of either coast ever again, so I said 'why not!' I absolutely love being able to visit Walt's original theme park whenever I wish, every day of the yEAR, even on popular holidays. And I love even more that features like MaxPass and parking are included in the price of this pass. I am a bit jealous that you're about to enjoy all of that AND pretty much the exact same benefits at Walt Disney World Resort! Let me know if you need a personal tour guide or bag and jacket holder, I'd be more than happy to voluntEAR!

There are a few ways that you can purchase the bi-coastal Disney Premier Passport, Juan. You can buy this pass outright at the Disneyland Resort Ticket Booths by starting a new contract and paying in full at the time of purchase, and your full yEAR of double magic will start the day of its first use. Or, you can upgrade from your current tier of AP at Disneyland Resort to this ultimate level. To do this you'll simply pay the difference between the contracted annual price of your Signature Plus Passport and the price of the Premier plan, which is currently *$2,099. (*Prices are subject to change without notice.) This can also be done at any Disneyland Resort ticket booth, and the difference amount must be paid in full at the time of the upgrade. The pro with upgrading your current pass is that you can still keep the monthly payment plan and payment plan price of your contracted Signature Plus portion of this pass! The one downside, though, to upgrading your current pass is that this upgrade doesn't start your year over or extend the 'valid through' date by a year, it only upgrades the amount of day remaining on the contract of your current pass. So in my opinion, you should only upgrade your current plan around the time of your renewal so you can really maximize your days of usage.

Pro Tip: Once you've purchased the ultimate fun ticket, head to our recently answered questions page specifically about Walt Disney World Resort, check out the 'Panel Extras' section to find great tips, and watch these helpful videos!

I hope this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Juan. Definitely stop back by when you're ready to start planning your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth - we're all Ears!
