We currently have the Disney dining plan but worrying about making reservations and having to stop our day at the park to keep a dinner reservation is stressing me out. Can I change to the quick service dining plan?

Hello Amy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I can totally relate to your Disney Dining Plan dilemma as sometimes navigating my family of 6 around the Disney Theme Parks and co-ordinating our Advanced Dining Reservations to our current location could be compared to a military operation - and you are so right, it can be stressful!
However with the help of a pencil and paper plus having the Disney.go.com website open believe me, a workable strategy can be achieved.
My top strategy tips for you would be to begin by choosing your families absolute must-eat-at Disney Table Service restaurants and then pencil them into or around your Disney day and FastPass+ selections. Also it could work best for you to perhaps make Table Service Advanced Dining Reservations just at breakfast; this way your day isn't encumbered with precise dining times.
Another way to experience the Disney Dining Plan would be to leave reservations to pixie dusted luck by not making any Advanced Dining Reservations at all and just walking-up to Table Service locations and enquiring at the podium if there are any openings; this can also be done at Guest Relations or via My Disney Experience
To enquire about the possibility of making changes to your current Dining Plan you'll need to seek the assistance of a helpful Cast Member by dialling the number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory
