What are the current disability access services ? Have they been updated to make our access easier ?

    Hi Ann Marie,

As the mama of a Mouseketeer with some special needs, my family is grateful that Disney does all they can to help make the Walt Disney World Resort a magical place for everyone!

The Disability Access Service is a wonderful service which allows Guests who struggle to wait in a traditional standby queue to wait elsewhere. To qualify for the service, you'll want to take all of the members of your party to a Guest Relations location inside one of the four theme parks. If the Disability Access Service would be beneficial for you or a member of your party, then they will set up the service there for you. To experience an attraction with the service, you'll simply ask the Cast Member at the attraction entrance for a Disability Access Service return time. While this service has been available in this form for a few years, one fairly recent update is that it is all managed digitally. Your return times will be visible in your My Disney Experience account, and when it's time to return, you'll simply use your MagicBands or cards to enter the FastPass+ queue. Just make sure that the Guest who qualified for the service enters the queue first. You may use this service, one attraction at a time, for the entire length of your stay, and you'll be able to use the FastPass+ service, too!

If you're wondering about services in general for Guests with disabilities, I'd encourage you to check out all the wonderful resources that are available for Guests with a variety of special needs. They are such a blessing!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ann Marie. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
