Curious if there are any tips of getting reservations at popular restaurants last minute? I will have an almost 2 year old and we decided last minute to bring her to Disney for her birthday. Specifically Character Breakfasts and Be Our Guest

    Hi Candace!

I can think of no better place to celebrate your daughter's second birthday than at Walt Disney World Resort! You will have an unforgettable trip with memories to last a lifetime!

I see that you are arriving the first week of December, so you do have a little time to score a great dining reservation. I have a few tips that might help! First, in addition to checking online daily, I've had some luck when calling Disney Dining Reservations. The Cast Members have the ability to search multiple days at a time, which is helpful. Second, I have had the most success in finding a cancellation a few days before our trip. Some dining locations apply a cancellation fee, and Guests tend to finalize their plans as their vacation approaches. Third, regarding Be Our Guest Restaurant, keep in mind that it is typically easier to get a breakfast or lunch reservation than it is to get a dinner reservation. Although the Beast does not visit during breakfast or lunch (it is a Quick-Service location during those times), you can make a FastPass+ reservation before or after your meal at Enchanted Tales with Belle, where your little one can interact with Belle!

No matter where you decide to dine, be sure to note on the reservation that you'll be celebrating your daughter's birthday. In addition, you might want to take a look at the Customize Your Special Occasion page on the Walt Disney World Resort website where you can personalize your celebration!

Please stop back with any additional questions, Candace. Have a magical day!
