Hi! I am curious as to if the Guest Assistance Card would be good for me (I have Crohn's disease & usually need to use the washroom frequently and quickly. I had seen a question similar to this but am wondering what exactly GAC would do for me. Thanks!

    Hi Brianna,

The Guest Assistance Card is most often used to alert Cast Members that guests require special assistance at attractions. For example, some wheelchair bound guests require a special ride vehicle and the GAC will help Cast Members to recognize this so that they can help accommodate their needs.  It could also alert Cast Members that a guest has a hearing disability so that they can be directed to special seats equipped with a hearing assistive device (where available).

I know a couple of people with Crohn's disease and know how painful it is for them.  I also know that it can be very difficult for them to leave their comfort zone and travel to a crowded destination. I would suggest stopping by Guest Relations as soon as you enter the park to see what suggestions they have for you.  Also study the maps so that you always know where the nearest restroom is located.

I also know that you may have special dietary concerns as well.  If you make any advanced dining reservations, be sure you mention any special requests when booking.  If you have already made your reservations and would like to discuss any special dietary needs, call 407-824-5967 - Monday - Friday.  You may have to leave a message but they will call you back.

Remember to relax and have fun.  Wishing you many magical memories :-)
