    Is the Crystal Palace primarily a family-oriented restaurant? I'm going as a couple with my bf (in our 30's), and would like some special ADRs. So far we have California Grill versus Narcoossees, Coral Reef, Sci Fi Dine-In, & the Royal Table. Thought

    Kristen,

    Yes, Crystal Palace is decidedly FAMILY oriented. While the food is good, the restaurant is a bit chaotic and noisy, and Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, and others bumping around certainly make it even more so.

    As for more "adult" selections like you have listed, I have a few others that I can add that you might consider;

    • Jiko (delicious, exotic elegance)
    • Boma (A buffet, but a wonderful one with inventive Indian and African inspired selections)
    • Sanaa (A great, and overlooked, restaurant. The shared items are phenomenal!)
    • Flying Fish (best fish on property)
    • Hollywood Brown Derby (great salad)
    • Le Cellier (Cheddar Cheese Soup. Enough said.)

    Now note that the Hollywood Brown Derby, Flying Fish, and Jiko are all pretty expensive (or 2 table service credits each on the Disney Dining Plan).

    Now if you write me back about some of your likes/dislikes, I can recommend SEVERAL great other choices, from gospel brunches to fun dining without a big show (or big price tag), to elegant and romantic escapes. Just give me a few road signs, and I will map it out for you!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
