We are crusing with our 6 year old and 16 year old. I'm sure our 16 year old would like to get out on her own while onboard the ship, so is there any activities that would allow her to meet other teens? She's shy,so I'm worried she may not find a ship mate

    Hello again, Jamal -

Sailing on a magical voyage on any of the Disney Cruise ships is a sure shot super cool vacation! I think your kids might just enjoy this too much, that they'll definitely want to go another one :-). Expect to get an amount of fan fare from them, thanking you for being such a great parent for bringing them on an awesome vacation!

Your 16 year old will enjoy hanging out at the Vibe! No parents are allowed in this teens-only exclusive club onboard. They have the coolest youth counselors supervising them and engaging each and every one of them while they participate in the club's activities. According to my own teens, your daughter MUST not miss the Ice Breaker activity on the first night of the cruise. Everyone is a fresh slate and the teens are able to shake off some of the shyness... all at the same time. It's the best way to meet the other teens sailing with you. They have parties and activities that allow them to get to know each other... it's a lot of fun for sure!

Sailing with Teens is a phenomenal experience on the Disney Cruise. They'll get a chance to meet other teens with similar likes and dislikes. They'll likely hang out around the ship throughout your voyage, so make sure you agree on the time that your teen meets up with the family (dinner time, etc). She will have a blast! Your 6-year old will have loads of fun as well at the Oceaneer Club.

    Have a great day, Jamal!
