Cruising this summer with 6 yr old twins and an 8 yr old. How does it work with three kids and two parents on the Aquaduck? Will they let my 8 year old wait at the top for one of us to come back and take her down? Don't want to wait in line twice!

    Hi there, Alex!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you are heading on a Disney Cruise Line vacation!  Be prepared because so much fun awaits you onboard…from fun-filled deck parties to incredible onstage entertainment, your family will have the best adventure at sea!

I know you are all excited about the AquaDuck…I mean, a water coaster...OVER the ocean!?!  Believe me, its just as much fun as it looks!  Currently, Disney Cruise Line does not offer any sort of “skip the line” or “fast pass” option for Guests in your situation but depending on the height of your 8-year-old, he or she may be able to ride solo!  In order to ride the AquaDuck, Guests must be 42” or taller; solo riders must be at least eight-years old and 54” tall.  If your kiddo does not meet this height requirement, I would suggest asking the lifeguard if they will allow you to skip the line.  There is usually a lifeguard at the entrance of the line checking heights and may be able to assist you.  Otherwise, I would highly recommend considering an evening swim and AquaDuck ride!  Believe me, it’s a whole different experience at night and so so so much fun!  Additionally, I will say, while the line may seem a little long, it really does go quickly and much of the line is positioned so you can enjoy the sights of the sea or catch the movie playing on the Funnel Vision.  And, it’s definitely worth the wait!

    Happy Sailing!
