Cruising in December for our 1st Disney cruise with just the adults on the Dream for 3 nights. Trying to decide on Brunch at Palo or skipping a rotational restaurant and doing dinner. Any advice?

    Ahoy, Danielle!

I'm so excited for your adult-only Disney Dream sailing in December! My husband and I did the exact same thing last December and had such an amazing time. It was our second Very Merrytime Cruise, but the first one without kids, and it was more magical than I ever expected it would be.

My husband and I are huge fans of Palo so it was a tough decision for us to choose between brunch and dinner on our 3-night sailing (we typically do both on longer cruises). The deciding factor was the chocolate soufflé that is only offered at dinner. I'm a chocoholic so I couldn't wrap my brain around being onboard and not being able to indulge in this delectable dessert! With that being said, brunch offers some amazing items as well including a buffet and made to order entreés. It's a meal fit for royalty so you'll be full for hours!

All three main dining room restaurants offer a unique dining experience, Danielle. You can dine in the Enchanted Garden (buffet style) for breakfast as well as Royal Palace (á la carte menu). On our sailing, Enchanted Garden was open for lunch on Embarkation day and Nassau and Royal Palace offered lunch on the Nassau day so there will be other opportunities to dine in these venues. The one I suggest not missing is Animator's Palate (my personal favorite!). Palo does hold some reservations back for onboard reservations so you can inquire about switching your Palo Night once aboard if it conflicts with your rotation. Pirate Night is typically scheduled for Day Two.

Good luck with your decision! If you have any additional questions, please let us know!

    Have a Very Merrytime!
