We are cruising aboard the Disney Wonder in Feb 2018 (San Juan>Port Canaveral) and using the Disney shuttle from the airport to the ship then to WDW. Will my 1 year old be required to sit in a car seat or is it a motor coach?

    Ahoy, Frances!

With the new year almost here, you'll be strolling the deck of the Disney Wonder soaking in the warmth of the Caribbean before you know it! I'm sure your crew can't wait for your surf and turf adventure to begin!

Frances, you've made a wise choice to let Disney Cruise Line take care of all your transportation needs on your vacation. It really is the way to go to ensure your land to sea and sea to land transitions are smooth and seamless. Neither shuttle will require your sailor to be in a car seat as modes of transportation used for the public do not support them. If you bring one along for the plane ride, it will be stored either in the back of a smaller shuttle or underneath the motor coach.

I'm excited for your family to experience a WONDERful sailing with Disney Cruise Line, Frances. Be sure to arrive early (around 30 minutes) for Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and grab a seat down close to the Walt Disney Theatre stage. You'll definitely feel like you are in the midst of Arendelle with your favorite Frozen Friends during this amazing Broadway-style production. When it's your family's turn to visit Tiana's Place, be camera ready during this lively meal. And order up at least one serving of Tiana's tasty buttermilk beignets! They are melt-in-your-mouth good...I promise!

I'm so glad you reached out with your question, Frances. We hope you'll sail back over real soon if you think of any others before your February sail away. It won't be long now.

    Have a WONDERful day!
