Cruise-prices higher out of NYC? vs. Florida? Thought it would save on airfare-but seems higher! Can't do it for whole family-thinking 2 of us ONE POINTS and one cash! So even with air better to pay and leave from Florida? Any thoughts? new ship name?

    Hi Denise!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!  Both the New York and Florida itineraries are an incredible cruise experience.  An extra night onboard and theme park tickets to Walt Disney World might be the reason the price seems to be a bit higher on the cruises out of NYC.  On the Disney Magic sailing, you will spend more days at sea.  With all the fantastic amenities and activities onboard, you can definitely stay very busy enjoying the ship as your destination.  On the cruises that depart from Port Canaveral, there are more itinerary choices, cruise length variation, and  ship selection.  The Dream sails  three and four night Bahamian cruises each week, and the brand-new Fantasy will alternate between the Eastern and Western Caribbean.  If either of these sound appealing to you, then spending the money on airfare to Florida might  be your best option.

Whichever itinerary you choose, you won't be disappointed in the quality of service Disney Cruise Line provides no matter what vessel you travel on. It is truly a first-class experience that will leave you with the most priceless vacation memories.

    Have a wonderful day!
