    Eileen from NY Asked

Hi we are going on a cruise sept. 5th to the Bahamas staying at disney world before the cruise, if we want to book our next cruise or disney vacation is there a discount if we book before our trip ends ?

Welcome aboard, Eileen! Wow! It's almost time for your family to set sail with Captain Mickey! Only a couple of weeks until you'll be walking onto the ship as the Cast Members announce your name and applaud your arrival! I bet you are counting the days!

My family loves to book our next Disney cruise while we're on the ship. Onboard, you'll be able to take advantage of some special offers like paying a discounted deposit, receiving about 10% off the next cruise, and getting a nice onboard credit for the next cruise. If you know you'll be sailing again, it really makes sense to book onboard. Most times my family has planned at home which itinerary we'd like to book onboard, but we've booked a "dummy date" before as well. We knew we'd be sailing the following year, but weren't sure exactly when, so we booked the furthest date possible then were able to change it to our exact itinerary once we were back home.

Usually Disney Vacation Club offers some incentives if you choose to purchase a membership in DVC while you're onboard a cruise as well. So, keep that in mind for the future too!

I hope that helps as you get ready to bring out those suitcases and head off on the high seas with Disney, Eileen! Have a wonderful cruise!
