Cruise Questions! :-) Do the staterooms have mini fridges? needed for bottles Am I allowed to bring gallon jugs of water on board to make bottles in my room? Am I allowed a small strollers on board? Thank you!

    Ahoy, Carolyn!

Your crew is in for a real treat when you set sail with Disney Cruise Line! Cruising with little ones couldn't be easier with Captain Mickey at the helm so let me fill you in on a few important tips for your vacation.

All staterooms do have small refrigerators. These can hold a few bottles, but are not very deep. Any water brought onboard will need to be packed in your carry-on luggage. Gallon jugs are permitted as long as they are unopened, but will take up a lot of space and make your bags quite heavy. You may be better off bringing bottled water and dividing it up between several carry-on bags. Staterooms are ready around 1:30 p.m. so you'll be responsible for your bags until then. Bottled water is available for purchase onboard and through the Gift and Amenities Section on the Disney Cruise Line website, so you could bring some of your own and also purchase some onboard if you run out. Bottle sterilizers and warmers are available onboard so please ask your stateroom host or hostess if you need one or both during your sailing. You can request a diaper disposal unit and pack-n-play as well.

Carolyn, small strollers are fine to bring along for use onboard and in port. I did this on our first sailing, but ended up storing it under our bed because I borrowed one from Guest Services. These are complimentary, but are first-come, first-served with a refundable deposit. I found it was worth stopping by on the first afternoon to get one because they were so easy to maneuver around the decks and corridors. On Castaway Cay, I grabbed a stroller from the first tram stop, Scuttle's Cove and was able to keep the stroller I was using onboard dry and sand free. The strollers on the island are always complimentary and are first-come, first-served. The Pelican Point tram stop also offers them.

    Bon Voyage!
