We have a cruise in November. Some passports expire in January. Is that ok?

Welcome aboard, Sylvia Diane! I'm excited to hear that you'll be setting sail with Disney Cruise Line this fall. My family and I have sailed many times in November with Captain Mickey and his crew and find it a great time to escape the chilly temperatures back home and head south to the warm waters of the Caribbean or Bahamas! You're in for a great trip!

While there are many benefits to carrying a passport, Disney Cruise Line does not require U.S. citizens to have passports for its Bahamian or Caribbean sailings that depart and return from U.S. ports, however it is a good idea to have them, so you can more easily return home should you have an emergency in a foreign port of call. U.S. Citizens on those sailings must have a valid U.S. Passport, (so yours would be still valid in November), or a government-issued photo ID (like driver's license) along with the original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate.

Please read the exact and most up-to-date details on Passports and other required travel documents specific to your itinerary on Disney Cruise Line's website for more details.

I hope that helps as you continue planning your cruise this fall, Sylvia Diane!
    Have a wonderful trip!
