What are crowds like the week starting Easter Sunday into the following week? Touringplans shows manageable crowds but many other blogs say to avoid the week before/after Easter. Anyone know from experience? Don't want too high of crowd levels. Thanks!

Hi, Melanie!  I think the week after Easter is tough to pin down crowd wise, because it really does depend on when school spring breaks fall.  My girls always have the week after Easter, unless there's been a bad winter and we lose our vacation days to make up for snow days.  Some years when we've gone that week, it's been fairly manageable.  Other years, it feels really crowded.

This year, we had a pretty easy time making plans at the last minute, including some of our favorite FastPass+ reservations.  We hit the parks early in the morning, and we were able to do most of what we wanted to do.  The crowds became lighter towards the end of the week, so you might have better luck after the Easter weekend crowds diminish.

It is definitely more crowded than other times of the year, but if this is one of the only times you can go, it's doable.  Use extra magic hours in the morning to give yourself a jump start on things, and make your FastPass+ choices as soon as you can.

    Good luck and happy planning!
