    Anthony from NJ Asked

How crowded are the parks in mid June, specifically the week after Father's Day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anthony!

It's a great time to begin planning your mid-June vacation to the most magical place on earth! You've also come to the right place for tips, tricks, and advice for making your planning experience a snap.

When vacationing during the June/July timeframe, as long as you have a good plan, you'll have a great time. Here are a few other tips to help while visiting during a time of year when you will see moderate crowd levels, let's say levels of 6-7 out of 10.

    • Early birds get the attractions - plan to arrive prior to park opening and have a plan on what attractions you want to hit first. Nothing beats the first two hours in the parks as far as crowds go.

    • Utilize the FastPass+ program  - FastPass+ allows you to reserve your spot in line at some of Walt Disney World® Resort's most popular attractions. I suggest making FastPass+ reservations for the late-morning/afternoon when the parks are busier. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel, you may make your selections 60 days in advance. If staying off-property, 30 days in advance.

    • Advanced Dining Reservations may be made 180 days in advance. Be sure to have your must-do list of dining reservations written down for efficiency when your booking window opens. I also suggest eating at non-peak hours to maximize your time.

    • Download the My Disney Experience App for your smartphone. This is the ultimate on-the-go planning tool, allowing you to check wait times, modify your plans, and make additional FastPass+ selections throughout your day.

I hope these tips are helpful in your planning, Anthony! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions. I am here to help you plan!
