Hi Stacy,
How wonderful that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the
Holidays. My family and I had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas a few times, and it is absolutely a magical time.
Candlelight Processional is an amazing experience where a celebrity narrates the Story of Christmas accompanied by an impressive choir and orchestra. It is a super popular event and the best way to guarantee a seat is with a
Candlelight Dining Package. We experienced it on Christmas Eve a few years ago, and it was so wonderful.
We have visited Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Day on a few occasions, and yes, it is one of the busiest days of the year. We are not morning people, and we never had issues entering late in the morning. In the rare event that a Theme Park starts to reach capacity (and typically this happens in the afternoon), Resort Hotel Guests and those holding a valid dining reservation should still be allowed in.
One last tip: remember to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app to quickly check for attractions wait time and to adjust any
FastPass+ selections. Happy Holidays!
Ricardo.
