Hi Courtney! Tks for answering my questions on where to get a FP for RSR. Noticed the park map online shows FP for RSR is @ Tough to be a Bug...have the maps just not been updated? Tks for the info!

    Hi, Bonnie!

It’s great to hear from you again. Thanks for writing back to me for clarification about FASTPASS distribution for Radiator Springs Racers.

It sounds like the map you’re referencing is current. The FASTPASS distribution kiosks for the Radiator Springs Racers attraction are indeed located near the entrance to It’s Tough to be a Bug! in “a bug’s land” as I mentioned previously. However, the beginning of the queue to receive a FASTPASS often forms near Carthay Circle Restaurant, because while Guests can be admitted to the park early, FASTPASS distribution doesn’t begin until the park opens. When the public is permitted through the main turnstiles (usually about 30 minutes prior to the park’s scheduled opening time), Guests head down Buena Vista Street toward Carthay Circle, where there are signs designating the beginning of the Radiator Springs Racers FASTPASS queue—which on busier days can stretch through Hollywood Land all the way back to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

With that said, since you will be staying at Paradise Pier Hotel, you may be able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour perk on the day of your visit. In that case, you could walk to the attraction directly from the exclusive entrance to Disney California Adventure Park in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and you may be able to experience Radiator Springs Racers with a minimal wait before the park officially opens without obtaining a FASTPASS.

I hope this information helps, Bonnie. Please don’t hesitate to write back to me if you have any other questions.

    Wishing you magic,
