How much would it cost to upgrade my 4 day Florida Resident tickets (3 guests) to park hopper option?

    Hi Nicole,

Isn't it great to be a Florida resident and take advantage of the special Walt Disney World discounts for those of us who live here? I am assuming you and your party have purchased the four-day Discover Disney tickets that are available this spring.

Those are a terrific deal and allow you access to one park on each of the fours days for a total of $159. If you want to upgrade to the parkhopper option, the cost is about $35 more -- less than $10 per day. I love the flexibility of a parkhopper. We often find that we spend most of the day in one park, but like to move to another for dinner or fireworks or some late-night rides.

To upgrade, you'll just need to visit a ticket window or Guest Relations location and pay the difference between your original purchase price and the parkhopper option. You can do it any time before your tickets expire, but I'd recommend doing it first thing to get the full value of the parkhopper.

If you find that you don't get enough Walt Disney World in four days, Nicole, you also can apply the cost of your Discover Disney tickets to a Florida resident annual pass. Just be sure you do that on your final day to get the full credit for your Discover Disney tickets.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please check back again if we can help in any other way as you plan your four days of Walt Disney World fun. Enjoy!
