    Melissa from TN Asked

is there a cost to refill dining plan mugs and can they be used in theme parks?

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  The refillable drink mugs that come with the Disney Dining Plan are a great value and an additional perk of using one of the Disney Dining Plans.

When you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, during check-in the Cast Member will explain the dining entitlements for the length of your stay, including how many Table-Service, Quick-Service, Snacks and refillable drink mugs your party has.  You can pick up your refillable drink mug at any Resort Hotel Food Court or Quick-Service Location, and the Cast Member at the check out will activate your mug.  Once your refillable drink mug is activated you are able to refill your mug for the entire length of stay at no extra charge.  If you are not using one of the Disney Dining Plans, refillable drink mugs are available for purchase at any Quick-Service Dining Location as well.

The refillable drink mugs are for use at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels only (at the self-serve drink stations) and cannot be refilled at any of the Theme Parks, Water Parks or at Disney Springs.  If you are looking for complimentary beverages guests are able to ask for a cup of water at any counter service location in the Theme Parks.  Club Cool in Epcot offers samples of different Coca-Cola products from around the world, but beware I do not recommend the Beverly!  Also when you purchase a beverage at most counter-service locations, refills are included while you are dining.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Melissa.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
