Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

    Ay from IL Asked

I am contemplating the Wishes Dessert Party for our visit on February 12. It looks like Once Upon a Time is at 7:30 with Wishes beginning at 8:00. Does the Dessert Party include prime viewing for both shows? Can you see the projections clearly?

    Hi Amy!

I'm happy to hear you're considering a Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I was lucky enough to attend one of these events on my last visit to Magic Kingdom Park, and I loved it!

Guests have two parties to choose from - the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, and the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing.

Both parties feature a dazzling display of delicious desserts (try saying that five times fast!), an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, and prime viewing locations for the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. The difference between the two parties is the location of the viewing area.

Guests who book the Tomorrowland Terrace Party will have reserved seating at tables along the edge of the restaurant patio. Guests who opt for the Plaza Garden option will be escorted by Cast Members to the Plaza Garden for viewing. While the Plaza Garden doesn't offer seating, we enjoyed sitting on the lovely (artificial) grass to watch the fireworks. We were in the viewing area in plenty of time to enjoy the Once Upon A Time projection show before the fireworks, and could see the castle clearly from our location. I prefer the Plaza Garden option, because the view of the castle is more centered than the view from the terrace. (I also enjoyed stretching out on the grass after a long day!) That being said, both areas have wonderful views of Cinderella Castle - it's just a personal preference.

No matter which option you choose, you're in for a real treat (actually, as many treats as you care to eat!) when you book a Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. I hope you have the time of your life! - Diane W.
