Contemplating bfast on our last day before leaving for airport staying at Pop using Disney transportation Magical Ex. will be picking us up at 10am for a 1pm flight .Would you recommend Cape May Cafe or Whispering Canyon? 2kids 1yr and 3yr. old

    Hi Amy,

I've eaten at both of these restaurants for breakfast and you really can't make a bad choice between them.  Your decision will probably come down to whether you want to visit Disney's Beach Club Resort or Disney's Wilderness Lodge on the last day of your vacation.  Both are exquisite resorts!  Although the Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort in the whole world, I imagine your family might actually enjoy breakfast at Cape May Cafe more because it is a character dining experience.  If your children love Mickey, Goofy, and friends, then this is a better choice!  Breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe is not a character dining experience.

Let me give you one note of caution, however.  I notice from your question that you need to be back at Disney's Pop Century Resort by 10 am to catch Disney's Magical Express to the airport.  You are going to need a very early breakfast reservation at either of the aforementioned restaurants in order to get back to your resort on time.  Remember, there are no direct buses between Pop Century and other Disney resorts.  You would need to take a bus first to a theme park and then transfer to either the Beach Club or Wilderness Lodge.  While I think it is definitely worth getting up early for either of these dining experiences, I just wanted you to keep in mind that it might be difficult to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and still make it back to Pop Century on time.  You may want to consider getting breakfast at Pop Century instead.

Best of luck with your planning!
