Considering a WDW 5 night, 4 day vacation - we would drive. We are a family of 7 (2 adults, kids: 9, 7, 6, 4, 1). Do we have to count the 1 year old on the vacation planner? I was hoping for Art of Animation for lodging.

    Good news, Marian!

Because your youngest is only one-year-old, all seven of you could enjoy a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  (The assumption is that your youngest child will sleep in a crib).  The big question will be which of the three sections of the resort (Cars, Finding Nemo, or The Lion King) you'd prefer.  Each of these sections has family suites.

Of course, you could book two adjacent standard rooms in the Little Mermaid section of this resort instead.  That would give you plenty of space as well.

Be sure to count all seven of you as you do your vacation planning (for room and advance dining reservations).  Even if there is no extra charge for your youngest child (to enter the parks or dine at a Disney restaurant), Disney still likes to have an accurate headcount of its guests.
