Considering staying at a villa (WL or BLT) for our next trip. Are the villa's close to the main building/buses? It will be my husband, myself, and our kids 8 & 4. Will a studio be enough room or should we go with a 1 bedroom? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Blair,

You're going to love the Disney Vacation Club properties at either Disney's Wilderness Lodge or Disney's Contemporary Resort.  If you decide to stay in a deluxe studio during your stay, I highly recommend you select the Villas at Wilderness Lodge (VWL) as the studios there are larger than the studios at Bay Lake Tower.  If you can upgrade to a one bedroom villa, I think you'll really enjoy the accommodations at either location as they offer your family plenty of space in addition to a full kitchen and private laundry facilities.

Over at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the villas are closer to the bus stop than the villas at Bay Lake Tower.  In fact, the villas at VWL are directly behind the bus stop at this resort.  There are just a few footsteps between the front entrance to the villas and the bus stop.  Over at Bay Lake Tower, you would need to cross the bridge from Bay Lake Tower to Disney's Contemporary Resort to reach the bus stop.  Of course, Disney's Contemporary Resort also offers access to the monorail on their fourth floor Grand Concourse.  Both sets of villas are within close proximity to their neighboring main resort buildings.

Honestly, Blair, you can't make a bad decision between these two resorts.  Both have extraordinary amenities and charm.  Let us know if you need any additional advice as you plan your magical Disney vacation.  We'd be happy to help!
