I am considering a reservation at the Fort Wilderness Lodge for my next trip to Walt Disney World; however, I have gotten conflicting reports on the transportation from FWL to the Magic Kingom. Can you get to the MK via boat AND bus, or just boat?

Hi Jolene!  I am assuming you mean Wilderness Lodge as there is a distinct difference between the Wilderness Lodge resort and the Fort Wilderness campgrounds.

Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort located on Bay Lake.  To reach the Magic Kingdom you have the option of taking either the water taxi or the Disney bus.  Both will drop you off just steps away from the entrance and many families take one mode of complimentary transportation to get to the park and the other to return to the resort. It offers variety!

Those staying at the Wilderness Lodge will feel like they are miles away from the hustle and bustle of the Magic Kingdom!  It is a refreshing and relaxing choice among the many you have when picking a place to stay but comes complete with all the amenities of a deluxe resort.  Check out this wonderful resort at this site: www.disneyworld.com .
