Considering POFQ or AOA - need help deciding. My big concern is the wait of the bus. Do you think both offer the same option as far as wait and walk time or is one location better. Previously stayed at deluxe hotel and watching cost this time.

    Hi, Lisa!

The great part about this question is that you cannot go wrong with either choice, as both resorts are wonderful!

If I had to choose, I would opt for Port Orleans French Quarter.  French Quarter has about 1,000 rooms while Art of Animation has 2,000 suites plus over 800 standard room.  That's a lot of guests when this resort is filled up (and it usually is!)  Personally, I prefer a bit more relaxing atmosphere which is what you will find at French Quarter.

When it comes to the buses, Art of Animation will always have its own designated buses.  Most times, French Quarter will as well, especially during very busy times like park opening and closing.  Mid-day, French Quarter's buses may also stop at Riverside which adds some time to your commutes.

Even with the occasional bus sharing, I find the whole bus stop thing much more relaxing at French Quarter over any of the Value Resorts.  There are simply less guests so it is not as hectic as other resorts.

French Quarter also has a great boat ride to Downtown Disney, close proximity to Riverside, and just a very lovely resort - perfect after a day in the parks!   On the flip side, Art of Animation is newer with a fabulous pool, family suites, and an amazing food court.

The ultimate decision is yours, but my vote is for Port Orleans French Quarter.  Good luck deciding!
