We are considering doing a Disney Cruise. We have three young children and would like to enjoy some on board night life, are their sitters on board that can be with the kids in our room so that we may enjoy some adult time? If so, how do we arrange this?

    Ahoy Marcella!

As one of the Disney Cruise Moms, I love to hear you are considering a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line!  Disney Cruise Line is the perfect vacation as it provides activities for every age! Adults can enjoy the adult-only spaces, and many fabulous activities offered by the cruise staff throughout the day.  Although there is no in-room babysitting, the Oceaneer Club and Lab are amazing youth spaces for ages 3-12 and are open from early morning until late at night.  Once registered, you can check your kids in and out as much as you like.  They will be cared for by trained youth counselors and have fun-filled days planned for every day of your cruise vacation. If you are planning to enjoy the nightlife, your children will be safe and sound until you return.  Nap mats are available it they need to lie down before your return.

If you have a child under three, the nursery is available for childcare for a nominal hourly fee.  Hours can be reserved prior to boarding or once you are on the ship. There are cribs available, and the nursery is usually open from early morning until late at night. I suggest ordering a Disney Cruise Line Planning DVD and watching the information videos on Disneycruise.com to help with your planning.  Please let me know other questions you may have during the process.  I'm always happy to help.

    Have a magical day!
