Considering going to DL, have never been. How is DL as far as wheelchair accessible rides? Also the chefs have to prepare my daughter's meals specially. does DL offer that service? Is there an advantage to staying on property since parks are consolidated

Hey Julie, it is nice to know they you want to visit my Happiest Place on Earth. Let me assure you that The Disneyland Resort gladly provides assistance to all guest with mobility disabilities so that they can experience all the fun of the parks. Many Disneyland Resort attractions provide access for visitors with mobility disabilities. At the link provided you will be able to see which attractions can be easily accessed and the cast members are happy to provide whatever a guest may need to help make their vacation more magical. As for your daughter's specially prepared meals, they got that covered also. Disney has created a site for Food Allergies and Special Dietary Needs. Here you see just how much Disney cares about making sure to accommodate every guests needs. If you need to speak to someone beforehand you can always call (714) 781-DINE where a guest services member can assist you further with your special needs. As for staying on site, there are so many benefits of staying at the hotels of the Disneyland Resort. My family loves the fact that Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers guest direct access from the resort into Disney California Adventure Park. We just wake up and take a quick walk over to get our World of Color fast passes and then came right back to the room! I am so happy to answer any and all questions you have, so feel free to ask away.
