We are considering the Disney After Hours tickets at Animal Kingdom. Can you give any additional information on benefits of the package and average wait times? It says limited number of tickets, how limited? Thank you.

Hello, Ben! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending over your question regarding Disney After Hours events!

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of any special events at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disney After Hours events are no exception! These events allow a limited number of Guests to enter into either Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom after traditional operating hours in order to experience an exclusive, three-hour nighttime extravaganza! Each theme park provides Character Greetings and access to popular attractions with little-to-no wait times. In addition, all Guests may enjoy popcorn, ice cream, and select beverages as a part of their cost of admission.

While I have not personally attended Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom specifically, I did have the pleasure of attending Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom last year. From my personal experience of this event, I cannot recommend it enough! It was so incredibly neat to see Magic Kingdom at such low capacity and experience a variety of attractions with almost no wait times. I am not completely sure of the exact number of tickets sold for each event but there were times in which I would only see a few other people in whichever portion of the park I was walking through. I also enjoyed quite a few Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwiches throughout the night which was definitively a plus for me!

Hopefully this provides a bit more information on Disney After Hours events for you to consider!
