We are considering a cruise on the Disney Dream in Oct 2011 and our son will be 2 years old. Do we need to bring our pack n play for him and is the inside stateroom big enough for a pack play our fold up stroller, etc? Thanks!

    Hi, Tiffany!

You are so very smart to consider a Disney Cruise Line (DCL) vacation for your young family! I personally think that a Disney Cruise combines the best of both worlds -- the whimsical entertainment of Disney and the rest, relaxation and pampering of cruising.

After just returning from the Disney Dream, I can honestly say that the inside staterooms were all the "buzz." Therefore, when you price your cruise, make sure you price both the inside and outside staterooms as the inside ones aboard the Dream are few and are in high demand right now.

Traveling with little ones requires lots of equipment. However, DCL makes it easy for you by providing a crib in your stateroom at no additional cost. You'll simply need to make your special request upon booking your reservation. Since your son will be larger than an infant, I would consider trying to get away with the smallest stroller possible for him -- a nice umbrella stroller will do. Then, you can collapse it as small as it will go and have no problem fitting it under the bed or even in one of the closets.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
