'm considering the Bay Lake Tower Hotel for my 2013 New Year Eve vacation. I'm going with a 9 and 5 year old and I'm trying to stay in the hotel the new year eve. Can I see the fireworks from this hotel.

    Hi, Ana!

Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my family's absolute favorite place to call home when touring Walt Disney World around a holiday!

If you book a Theme Park View Studio or Villa, you'll be able to see Wishes nighttime spectacular right from your very own room or balcony. Of course, it's too early to know the details of special holiday fireworks, but you'll have the best view at Bay Lake Tower of anything that's done at Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve.

What's even better about this view is that if anyone in your party simply can't stay up for the stroke of midnight, that person can be nestled snug in his or her bed...snoozing...while the rest of the group celebrates with a spectacular view.

If you book a Standard View or Bay View Studio or Villa, it's easy to watch the fireworks from several locations at the resort. I've watched fireworks from the windows at the elevators at Bay Lake Tower, along with some very revved up little ones and grandma from a room down the hall, and it was a hoot, too!

In short, book Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort for a spectacular view of any Magic Kingdom fireworks. You will be amazed, and in the comfort of your own resort, too, so crowds will not be a problem.
