We're considering an annual pass - 13 month special beginning today. Activation is when we show our certificate? Will we receive a credit for Memory Maker already purchased?

    Hi Mary,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

You are correct - if you choose to purchase a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass (and, as an Annual Passholder myself, I strongly encourage you to do so!), your activation date will be the day that you pick it up at Guest Relations at any one of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs.

As for your Memory Maker package, when I was in that same position last year, the Cast Member did credit the purchase price for the Memory Maker that I had purchased against the cost of upgrading our Theme Park Ticket. Of course, the ways in which credits are/aren’t applied is always subject to change. If you want to make sure that the policy hasn’t changed prior to your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort, I strongly encourage you to give them a call when you get a bit closer to your trip.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
