What is considered the week of Thanksgiving? Since Thanksgiving falls on a Thursday, is it starting the Monday prior to Thanksgiving or does the "week of Thanksgiving" begin on Thanksgiving Day?

    Hi Diana!
Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You ask a very fair question and I suppose it could be open to people's subjective opinions.
That said, typically, Thanksgiving week at Walt Disney World encompasses the week that actually has Thanksgiving in it. Crowds do begin building slightly the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving, but they start to increase more so early to midweek leading up to Thanksgiving, and then really increase from Wednesday through the weekend following the holiday. I have been at Walt Disney World many times during this holiday and find the parks to be absolutely manageable. The parks and resorts are not as crowded as Christmas, but are still decorated just as beautifully, so that's a plus!
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!!
