What is considered a "snack" on the Disney dining plan? I want to get an idea of what is available and from where within the parks/resorts, please.

    Hello Margaret!

Snacks! Churros, and Dole Whips, and Mickey Bars are the first things to come to mind. Don't get me wrong, these are ALL excellent choices, but there is a seemingly endless array of options while using the Disney Dining Plan. When at a dining or snack location, items available on the Disney Dining Plans are denoted with a small purple and white "DDP" logo. Rest assured that tried and true snacks like a scoop of popcorn, a bottle of soda or water, and pieces of whole fruit are included with your Dining Plan. Aside from these favorites, here are a few of my favorites-

Norway Pavilion, Epcot:  School Bread.  Hands down my personal favorite. It is a slightly sweet roll filled with magical cream and topped with frosting and toasted coconut.

Ample Hills Creamery, Disney's BoardWalk Inn: A scoop of "Ooey Gooey Butter Cake" artisanal ice cream is a perfect addition to a stroll down the BoardWalk.

Dockside Diner, Disney's Hollywood Studios:  I am easily swayed by a chocolate milkshake, and this one doesn't disappoint!

Many locations:  Cupcakes! Oversized, unique, delicious cupcakes. These beauties are available at many quick service locations and bakeries.  You should have not a problem finding one that meets your deepest cupcake desires.

I hope this helps you to start planning your snack adventures.

    See ya real soon,
