Confused re: FP+ I want to make my own selections but the system seems to pick for me. How can I customize my picks w/o being stuck into options A.B.C. or BEST MATCH?

    Hi Denise,

I agree that the FastPass+ reservation system can be a bit confusing to first time users, but don't worry, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly.

As a first step, you have to go ahead and select one of the A, B, C or Best Match options that you're given. There's currently no way skip this step, just choose one that most closely matches your needs, even if none of them are exactly right. Just consider them to be place holders.

Once you've made some selections, go back into Plan and Manage FP+. From there, next to each of your FastPass+ reservations, you'll see a button that says "Make Changes." Click on this and you'll be able to alter the time of your reservations (assuming that more options are available). There are photos of this process on the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "How to Make FastPass+ Reservations" and they'll walk you through the entire thing step-by-step.

Remember that you can change your FP+ reservations multiple times. Earlier this week I was at the Magic Kingdom with my daughters. We had a FP+ reservation for Space Mountain. When we arrived at the attraction, we saw that the wait time was only 15 minutes. Rather than use a valuable FP+ for the short wait, we got into the standby line. While we were waiting, I used the My Disney Experience app on my smartphone to change our Space Mountain FP+ to Peter Pan FP+ a few hours later. It really helped us be efficient with our time.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
