I am still confused about Fastpass+ and Rider Switch. We are a family of 5 and my 3 year old cannot ride due to height. Can my husband and kids get FP+, then issue me a rider switch? Then I could get a FP+ for a different ride along with my youngster?

    Hi Melanie!
You've got a great question-thanks for visiting us here at the Moms Panel! I love the Rider Switch service and I've used it quite a lot. The boys in our family LOVE thrill rides and the girls...not so much. Your husband and your older child can visit the attraction they've chosen with their FastPass+ selection (reserved for just the two of them) for the height restricted ride of their choice, and you can follow their ride with your Rider Switch pass (no FastPass+ needed). In the meantime, you and your younger child can ride a different FastPass+ selection for an attraction without a height restriction. I like to pair attractions that are in the same area; for example, Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland or Seven Dwarves Mine Train and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in Fantasyland.

One thing you should know about the Rider Switch service: your entire party needs to see the Cast Member at the start of the line for that attraction.

I hope you and your family enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
