I am confused on what are the best choices to use our fast passes on. I have a 3 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. Is it a waste to use them on meeting princesses and Mickey? I would love some advice.

    Hi Misty,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to have an upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Given the ages of your children, I would definitely suggest that you schedule character experiences. The lines can be difficult for little ones to manage. Our strategy is to book dining reservations for Character Meals so that we do not have to use our Fast Pass+ selections on character interactions. With character meals, you can typically meet several characters during the meal. Each character will come to the table, sign autograph books and pose for pictures. Our girls love Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, and Cinderella's Royal Table. We also still eat at Hollywood & Vine.

If you cannot make a reservation for a character meal, I suggest that you use one or two Fast Pass+ selection to meet characters. We have used them to meet Cinderella and Elena or Rapunzel and Tiana at Princess Fairytale Hall. Each park has a list of character experiences. At Magic Kingdom, for example, your little ones could meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. When one of our girls met Mickey Mouse for the first time, she literally put her hand up in disbelief.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are dancing as they wait for your family's arrival Misty!

Magic, Memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
