I completely understand why they made the new stroller restrictions, however, I’m having a hard time finding a stroller that has all of the features I want that fit the requirements. Am I going to be turned away for that extra 1/2 inch?

    Hi Jenni!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such an “of-the-moment” question. With three kiddos under six, I understand how important it is to have a stroller to carry all.the.things (including the littles)!

As you know, beginning May 1st, strollers need to be no larger than 52” (132cm) long by 31” (79cm) wide. The guidelines were adjusted to allow all of our Guests to enjoy their visits to the Parks, and I promise you that there are plenty of options on the market that fall within these measurements. Did you know that most exterior doors are approximately 35” wide, so the majority of strollers are designed to fit this size restriction? I think the big boss, Mickey Mouse is super smart and knew this when coming up with the rules!

I did some resEARch, and found a lot of choices! Quite a few of my friends love their Bugaboos, and all of the models I looked at are “Disney-sized," as are most single strollers. We have had the ZOE XL2 BEST Double since my twins were babes, and it works perfectly for us in the Parks! It is lightweight, but sturdy enough to haul all the essentials. Other popular doubles like the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and the Joovy Scooter X2 Double are also the perfect size. If you don't find one that fits your needs, remember that single and double stroller rentals are available at all four Theme Parks and Disney Springs.

Jenni, hopefully, you can find a stroller that is practically perfect in every way. I wish you much Pixie Dust in your search!
