    Dona from ME Asked

Have any of you completed either the Pirate Adventure - or the Sorcerer's adventure?? Is this best for small children/teens - or can an adult group get a kick out of it too?

    Hi, Dona!
Thanks so much for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You've come to the right place.

My kids and I have tried A Pirate's Adventure and Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. I think my kids are bigger fans of the Sorcerers experience because they love trading and collecting cards. And they've participated in the Sorcerers experience many more times than the Pirates Adventure.

I think both experiences are fun for young kids all the way up to adults. To me, I consider the Sorcerers experience to take up a bit more time than the Pirate Adventure. In both experiences, adults can be as involved as much as they want to, depending on the ages of the kids. Younger kids will need adults to get closely involved in the process. Elementary-age and beyond can probably take the lead and let the adults join in as much as they want. I know I got more involved when we first started the adventures. These days, my kids choose to take part in the Sorcerer challenges as much as they can on their own. (The biggest struggle is deciding which kid gets to hold the card. I recommend taking turns to prevent potential drama.)

Have fun with either experience - or even both if you have enough time. Either experience can take up much more than one day at Magic Kingdom Park. Let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your arrival later this month!
