We completed booking our dining for our WDW vacation starting 06NOV. We've been wrangling with arranging dining around parades, fireworks, etc. FP+ is obviously last. Will the FP+ system help by taking into account our other reservations?

Hi Keith! I understand your frustration about trying to put all your vacation plans together but only being able to do it pieces at a time. Since I plan my own family's trips it can be quite challenging.

At 180 days out you can book your Advanced Dining Reservations and you must book it at that time so you don't miss out on a special opportunity. Many options will book out within a few days of the 180 day mark. Resort guests can then book their FastPass+ at 60 days. It does indeed become a puzzle when you are trying to work around the dining plans. It will not recognize your dining times so you will need to work around it the best you can. Choose the best options and then go back and customize and change the times until it all fits. Be aware that FastPass times for shows such as Lion King or Beauty and the Beast will show about a 15 minute window but then you must understand the show itself will be about another 30-40 minutes. Sometimes I find that shows are best scheduled early or late but not around a meal time. It is much harder to run to catch your dining time when you are in a show.

I definitely consider putting it all together as a large puzzle. Luckily I actually love puzzles but I understand it can be stressful too.
