Comparing DDP to TIW. Is the allears site accurate with table service pricing? Also, TIW has blackout dates for 20% meal disc. but does the AP 10% meal disc. have blackout dates too? Thanks.

For our last Walt Disney World vacation I did some research and calculating to try to figure out which was a better deal, Tables in Wonderland or the Disney Dining Plan. I ended up choosing TIW, but each family's needs are different. I opted for the discount card because thanks to a dinner show and a signature dining meal we would have been over our table service credits.

Some restaurants with the Annual Passholder discount have blackout dates, typically New Years, Easter, and Mother's Day. Many fewer restaurants offer the AP discount than take the TIW card and quite a few exclude alcoholic beverages when using the AP. When doing your research you will find allears tends to be accurate. The date the menus were posted is listed.

If your are planning a visit with more than one table service meal credit needed per day, you might find Tables in Wonderland the best deal. You will have to crunch the numbers for your family to find which is the most economical for you, the dining plan or TIW.
