    Hi Richard,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always happy to greet a fellow North Carolinian!

My family has done the Disney Dining Plan often and it worked well for us in the past. Each restaurant will have a menu of available options for guests on the dining plan. Typically, you can select any entrée listed on the menu. Two of our favorite table service restaurants are Be Our Guest and Coral Reef Restaurant. If you take a look at the dinner menu for Be Our Guest, you will see the available entrée options. Children 9-years old and younger can order a Kids' Mickey Check Meal or a regular Kids' Meal.

At Coral Reef Restaurant, the aquarium is stunning but the food is also good. The dinner menu includes a number of different entrées. I have done the Pan-seared Verlasso Salmon and the Grilled New York Strip Steak. To view other restaurant menus, simply go to the homepage of the restaurant and click on "view menu" towards the right-hand side of the page underneath the $$ price range for the restaurant. In that same general location on the webpage, you should also see a note that lets you know if the restaurant accepts dining plans. If you see a statement that says "some dining plans accepted," click on that link to see how many meal entitlements you will need to use for that dining experience.

Richard, also remember that your meal entitlements are based on the number of nights of your stay. For a five-night/six-day trip, you would get 10 meals (five quick-service and five table-service) per person 3-years old and over.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
