Visiting Walt Disney World in November/early December is an excellent time of year to visit! You will avoid the Thanksgiving Day crowds, as many will have already headed back home, but you are coming prior to the Winter Break crowds.

I was at Walt Disney World last December, and believe me, it won't be too cold to enjoy! The weather in December in Florida averages 72 degrees. This is warm enough to enjoy walking around the parks and even enjoy the pools, all of which are heated. You may want to bring a light jacket for the evening, but you may not even need it then.

I've traveled with my children when they were toddlers and I found the experience absolutely magical. They look on their faces when they saw the characters, attractions and fireworks was priceless! They key to traveling with young children is to be flexible. If you have plans to eat dinner at 8:00 p.m. but the kids tire out at 4:00 p.m. Consider going back to the resort and taking it easy.

    Magically, Stacy
