We're coming with my 2 1/2 year old and the site says he won't need to purchase a ticket. How will he be able to take advantage of FastPass like the rest of the family?

    Hi Sara,

It's awesome that you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation with your son. My daughter was 2 1/2 on her first visit to Magic Kingdom more than 20 years ago, and she says that's her first memory.

You are correct that your son will not need a ticket because he is under 3. As long as you have a valid FastPass+, he can accompany you without problem as long as he meets the height requirement for any rides.

One of the many great things about Walt Disney World: Many of the rides and attractions are geared for little ones and are without height restrictions, including classics such as Dumbo, Peter Pan's Flight and "it's a small world". You'll find a list and lots of good information here in the guide to Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones.

Another tip: Make sure you use the Baby Care Centers in each of the theme parks if you need a spot to change your little one's diapers or clothes or you simply need a restful place to take a break.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Sara. Please let us know if we can assist in any other way as you make your plans. We're happy to share our experiences to help make your Walt Disney World vacation magical. Enjoy!
